Young Artist Scholarship Competition
The Abilene Philharmonic is proud to present our biennial Young Artist Scholarship Competition. This event was established by the Abilene Philharmonic in 2008 to help support outstanding young musicians in the Abilene area. The competition is open to Woodwind, Brass, Percussion, String, and Piano students between the ages of 12–18 that live in Texas School Regions 14 or 15. Scholarship awards may be used to further the student’s musical education, including private music lessons, music camps, and university tuition.
