The Abilene Philharmonic Orchestra wraps up its 57th, and arguably most successful, season in innovative style with its first interactive pops program, “Movie Magic,” Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. at the Abilene Civic Center. Under the baton of Music Director and Conductor David Itkin, the evening’s program will feature themes from popular movies—and surprises sprinkled throughout.The May 3 program will include music from Pirates of the Caribbean, Empire Strikes Back, Harry Potter, and Raiders of the Lost Ark.Come early and register for the movie trivia contest. Join conductor David Itkin during our Concert Conversations prior to the performance backstage at 7:15 p.m.
