Help Make a Difference!
Generous donors give to Philharmonic that help cover the gap between ticket sales, which only cover about one quarter of the cost to present a year of Philharmonic concerts. Memorial and Honorary Gifts
Many donors give contributions to honor a family member or friend, especially to commemorate a special event such as a birthday, wedding, anniversary, noted achievement, or retirement. Tribute gifts are also a thoughtful expression of condolence or as a remembrance memorial. The designated individuals or families receive notification of the tribute gift (with no reference to the amount), which is tax-deductible to the donor.
Guild Gold Medallion Ball
The Abilene Philharmonic Guild’s Gold Medallion Ball is held in February each year. An evening event of extraordinary elegance and style, guests are entertained with music, dancing, dinner, and other activities. The Guild’s tea, held in the morning of the day of the Ball, is a traditional tea that is child-friendly. Both events recognize the senior Belles and Beaus and support the Philharmonic.
